EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The hottest trend in digital mobile advertising is incentivized advertising wherein the publisher rewards the users for watching an Ad. This is a phenomenon that has great potential for increasing userbase as users are rewarded for consuming marketing content and are more likely to convert into leads.

We built a robust and fraud-proof In-App for our client that enabled them to give a credit to their subscribers’ monthly based on the Ads they interacted with. It was a large-scale deployment with integration to their billing system and fraud detection as well.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Our client wanted to generate a new revenue stream by offering an incentivized solution to their subscribers. The app’s requirements were as follows:

  • Subscribers shall download an app and get an option to choose an incentive program that shall give them a credit on their monthly bill.
  • Upon choosing the option the app shall capture numerous demographic details.
  • The app shall trap incoming calls and replace the phone dialer screen with an Ad from a client-approved agency.
  • The app shall also be integrated with the billing system and incorporate fraud detection.
